You go into any mental asylum you're bound to meet one guy who thinks he's Jesus. What is so amazing is that this guy had such a successful career. He truly muddied the line between the mad and the sane. I think that can only be a credit to him.

My favorite scene from this movie was when Herzog interviews Isabelle Adjani and she starts talking about how after wrapping Nosferatu she began to weep uncontrollably and Kinski comforted her and walked her back to her hotel and then years later when they met again he said all he remembered from Nosferatu was that walk to the hotel room. Herzog, visibly upset, cuts her off and begins talking about how much HE loved Kinski and how passionate they were together.
Ha, ha. Don't be stealing Herzog's thunder, fräulein!
